Cinnfully Delicious Cinnamon Rolls

Phot0013_2

Manage to gather a few friends last weekend, to try out 6 different flavours of Cinnamon Rolls from Saint Cinnamon Mid Valley. Eugenie recommends Cheese (when’s hot, it should b cheesy nice), Original Cinnamon flavour and Blueberry flavour. Raisin flavour is a bit disappointing.. haha.. its original cinnamon flavour + raisin. Overall, they are all nice.i’ll rate 5/6!!! guess it explains why the shop is always crowded.

~A beautiful heart~

Monday, February 27th, 2006

My special friend, you have such a beautiful heart. You came and blessed. Just has you have impacted my life, i pray and i ask god that he will fill me with compassion so i too can impact those around me. You gave out of your heart as if i was your own daughter. I’m really touched. Somehow thank you is never enough.. it’s not even near enough

glass + cup = STUCK!!

Friday, February 24th, 2006

here’s one smart thing i did today. i offered to help my roommate wash her cup. so there i was washing two cups and a glass. out of my own "smartness", i put the glass into my cup. Phot0007_2 at that moment, i was thinking, smart girl hor.. since i only have two hands and i need to open room door. smart only to find out later that the glass is stucked in the cup. gosh.. tried to add in soap, no..it’s still stucked. haha.. saved by baby oil. now.. it’s two apart.. Lesson learnt : kiang to ho liao, mai ke kiang.. :P Phot0005_2

“Minggu Penghayatan ilmu” aka Knowledge Appreciation Week

Thursday, February 23rd, 2006

finally, its all OVER!! yahoo.. no one can stop me now from warming my seat in the room or STONE-ning (word adapted from sook wai) at my study table. this comfort is superb. so wad happened throughout the whole week?

i manage to improvise the backdrop with my bunch of friends, all done in 2 hours. i practically turned my room into a workshop. polistyrene boards, paints, cutters.. trust me. thank god, my roommates didnt yell or anything of that sort. they were cool. even offered to clean up. see. another blessing from god.

then, got dragged into indoor games, my first hand on sudoku (a number game, check it out) was actually at a competition. it’s challenging to the mind ..haha. when you think you’re near the answer, it’s time to realise your no way near it. <just like love??>

there was MC for public speaking competition with sook wai. (view the last post). messed up like crazy. oh yea.. i wrote a poem entitled " search for knowledge" it sounded so much like a love poem. i’ve no idea how it actually got itself to win.

then, the closing was Principal’s Honours Ceremony for all students that scored above cgpa 3.5.. it was a real hectic week. it’s not totally over yet. there’s still treasurer’s report to hand in. but at least 80% done.

Disappointments.. disappointments

Tuesday, February 21st, 2006

just came back from my round of MC. Sook wai(my roommate) and i hosted a public speaking competition. phew.. it’s finally over. looking back, it all started well. a smooth opening and we read a poem on "Love" but the list of contestants was all messy, with unconfirmed topics and messy orders. i can only say now.. that we both tried our best, given the limit of time. having to shuffle. now all i want is some time with my friends.. on top of all, time for myself.

Tertiary Student Service (FGA) Valentine’s Night @ True Love Waits

Tuesday, February 14th, 2006

Phot0010 Tertiary Student Fellowship (FGA) Valentine’s Night @ true love waits was held on the 11th February 2006. The theme "true love waits" speaks lots.. primarily focus is to maintain sexual purity for the one true partner. or you can call it the one officially registered partner.. ahah. secondly is the one true love giver. when the love of man fails, his doesn’t.

wow.. the dinner came in a package with lots of surprises for me. a few frens came to give support. (very touched, thanks guys) and a surprise stalk of red rose (hehe.. kim i knew your behind it) i had the chance to play a small role in the opening dance. not too bad. was nervous. felt my hands and legs shivers at the beginning. but thank god. i didnt make a fool out of myself..

Special mention to the decoration team. it was wonderful with candlelights and rose petals all over the table. A make-over that turns an ordinary church service room into a classy yet simple ballroom..

hope you guys enjoyed the night. thank you for coming all the way

Chinese New Year 2006

Tuesday, February 14th, 2006

Phot0030_2 Just like you (Marianne), i didnt get to be home for these Chinese New Year. I hate it so much to see Ruby leave in the cab, to see Sook Wai clears up her portion of the room. Everyone just clears and leave. It felt lonely. The hallway was quiet and the nights felt empty.

But there’s one crazy thing i did. I pulled over a night at KLIA to wait for mum and sis. A few of my crazy friends joined along (Kimberly and Brian) + (Jeng and Champton that just so happened to miss their flight). See, everything happen for a reason. It was sort-of-a-spend-a-night together. Learn a few japanese word, watched "Memoirs of the Geisha" for the third time, slept. Soon, the sun rises.

Thinking back.. holiday just isn’t that bad. Crash a few mall with mum and sis. Bet Lydia loves me so much now?? Do you, sis? We bought "girls stuff" at very good bargain. haha.. Girls can never resist bargains..

Lydia loves the japanese garden. She rented the kimono and tourist just queue up to snap photos with her.Imagine her clad in orange coloured kimono with yellow coloured obi tied around the waist. She is dresses to kill. If she’s a geisha.. (better not, mum will snap..haha)I strongly recommend Bukit Tinggi Resort, Pahang if anyone wants a different touch in their vacation. I would call it a fairytale world. The french themed resort is really amazing.
